Let's be honest- sometimes parenting is a real hard work. What more would we expect? From all the endless crying at night up to cleaning their mess. But it's all worth it, because we love our child no matter what.
Research shows that how things work out for children is more dependent on their relationship with their parents. Daycare and school will be beneficial, but an emotional connection to your child is the most effective way on influencing them.
Children begin to build image their self-image through their playmates, friends, and parents. They will determine what is good or good bad based on your reactions. So always love them to the fullest, but don't spoil them!
Use term of endearment and affectionate tones when talking to them. When we talk sweetly to our child, we are telling them that they have a special place in our hearts. This instills them a sense of belonging and a strong identity.
Play With Them
Playing board games enhances their math skills and their critical thinking process. This also teaches them patience because in games you have to take turns. And of course, it's super fun!
Ask For Help
Letting them help on your household chore gives them a sense of responsibility. This shows them that they are needed and will boost their pride that comes from contributing for the benefit of the family.
